Here is a web page with some general information about SPAM: http://spam.abuse.net/overview/whatisspam.shtml Why do I get so much more SPAM than my co-workers? The 3 most common ways to guarantee you will get lots of SPAM are: 1. Subscribe to receive newsletters, list serves, coupons, inspirational messages, jokes, recipes, etc. 2. Fill out online application forms (outside SISD) that include your e-mail address. If you participate in any one of the above 3 items, you greatly escalate your chances of receiving SPAM. How can I submit messages to the district SPAM filter for blocking or filtering? Instructions for blacklisting SPAM messages that get through the filter will be coming soon. How can I manage SPAM in my own mailbox? In Outlook: Click Help How can I quickly get rid of messages that have been tagged as SPAM? WARNING: Sometimes legitimate messages are tagged as
